From October 28 to November 2 of this year, staff members of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Family Medicine at the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) visited several prestigious clinics in the Republic of Korea. Led by the head of the department, Professor D.K. Najmutdinova, the delegation aimed to exchange practical experience and visited branches of the ROEN Clinic in Solin and Gangnam, as well as St. Mary’s and St. Vincent’s Hospitals.
During the visit, they were introduced to innovative treatment methods in gynecological practice, including HIFU therapy for treating adenomyosis and myoma, as well as advanced digital surgical technologies using the 4th-generation Da Vinci robotic system. At the end of the visit, the director of ROEN Clinic, Sungrae Roeh, awarded certificates to the TMA staff, and plans for further cooperation and experience exchange were outlined.
