Obstetrics and Gynecology Department Staff Completed Training in South Korea

From August 4 to 12, 2025, staff members of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tashkent State Medical University — Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Kamilova I.A. and PhD, Assistant Gadoyeva D.A. — took part in a professional training program at leading medical institutions of South Korea, including The Catholic University of Korea, St. Vincent’s Hospital, and ROEN OB&GYN Clinic.

During the visit, our colleagues had the opportunity to work in direct collaboration with internationally recognized experts — Professor Joohe Yoon, as well as renowned surgeons Ro Song Re and Ryu Chong Van.

They actively participated in high-tech surgical procedures such as robot-assisted myomectomy, hysterectomy, TVT/TOT, Mini Sling, and Cesarean section. These cutting-edge techniques are distinguished by their minimally invasive approach, short rehabilitation period, and high effectiveness in preserving women’s health.

The training not only strengthened practical skills but also provided valuable exposure to advanced medical technologies.

The knowledge and experience gained will be widely implemented not only in theoretical courses but also in the department’s educational process — including master classes, practical training sessions, and clinical practice for students, undergraduates, and clinical residents. This will play a significant role in enhancing professional competencies, shaping modern clinical thinking, and preparing young specialists for independent medical practice.
