Today, on February 23, 2023, a scientific and practical conference on the topic “Modern approaches to standardization of medical care in obstetric and gynecological practice” was held at the International hotel Tashkent, dedicated to the memory of MD, Professor Anna Semenovna Mordukhovich – the founder of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology 2 TASHGOSMI. The conference was held in a hybrid format (offline +zoom) under the initiative of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Family Medicine of the Tashkent Medical Academy, organized by the Ministry of Health, the Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Uzbekistan.
The Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, MD, Professor E.I. Basitkhanova addressed the participants of the conference with a greeting. Students and followers of A. S. Mordukhovich – doctors of medical sciences, professors, teachers and doctors D. K. Nazhmutdinova, Zh. E. Pakhomova, A. H. Karimov, N. M. Magzumova D. T. Kayumova and others made presentations. The reports of foreign speakers were also heard – MD, Professor, Director of the Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductology. Otta (St. Petersburg, Russia) I. Y. Kogan and Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Moscow State Medical University (Moscow, Russia) M. R. Orazova.
During the conference, Anna Semenovna’s students from different parts of the world (Germany, Israel, India, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan) recalled the bright memory of our esteemed mentor, emphasized her scientific, pedagogical and human qualities, sensitivity and dedication to her work…
Anna Semenovna Mordukhovich was born on February 23, 1925 in the city of Tashkent in a family of intellectuals. The upbringing in the family was in the spirit of respect for each other, honesty, hard work and decency. All these qualities fully characterize A.S. Mordukhovich.
A.S. Mordukhovich devoted her whole life to scientific, educational and educational activities. Anna Semenovna was the author of numerous experimental and theoretical works on Rh sensitization, blood clotting disorders, perinatology and immunoreproductology. Under the guidance of Prof. A.S. Mordukhovich, 25 dissertations were defended. Of these, 5 are doctoral, 20 are candidate. Today, many of her students head the departments of obstetrics and Gynecology, leading obstetric institutions, health departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Over the years of her work, she has written dozens of scientific articles, clinical lectures, monographs, textbooks, methodological recommendations.
A.S. Mordukhovich, having become a doctor and working in the capital (Tashkent), constantly sought to ensure that obstetricians and gynecologists in all corners of our country receive, know how and implement advanced technologies, modern methods of medical practices. For the first time in our country, she proposed and implemented a method of treating gemolytic disease of newborns, developed tactics for the management of pregnant women with premature detachment of the normally located placenta, proposed calculations for the replacement of obstetric blood loss. Her special hobby was immunological reproductology, which at that time was still in its infancy. Professor A.S. Mordukhovich was a pioneer of immunological reproductology in our country.
The main goal of today’s conference was to improve the quality of medical care in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, perinatology and reproductology; the introduction of standardized approaches in practical healthcare; coverage of world and domestic scientific achievements; instilling practical skills based on the principles of evidence–based medicine to a practicing doctor.
The presentation of the book “Guide of an obstetrician-gynecologist” was also held at the conference. And in the classroom in the format of master classes, clinical protocols and algorithms for providing medical care in extreme conditions were considered.
At the end of the conference, certificates were issued to the participants, the materials of the scientific and practical conference were published in an electronic collection accredited by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
