On the initiative of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Family Medicine of the Tashkent Medical Academy, the 11th Uzbek-Georgian Medical Forum on the topic “Current problems of maternal and child health” was held today in the hall of the TTA Lyceum. During the medical forum, domestic and foreign specialists spoke about topical topics that are currently found in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology. The 11th Uzbek-Georgian Medical Forum with international participation was opened by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the TTA Sh. A.Boymurodov. Head of the department Prof. D.K. Najmutdinova presented the program of the forum and speakers. Leading specialists of prestigious medical institutes and centers of Georgia read interesting information about the modern possibilities of ultrasound, progressive innovations in IVF practice, scientific work of doctoral students of the department. At the end of the conference, Prof. Papitashvili A.M. (Georgia) and Najmutdinova D.K. answered the questions of the audience that arose during the forum, answers were given, and an agreement was reached on further scientific and practical cooperation. In conclusion, the 11th Uzbek-Georgian Medical Forum on the topic “Current problems of maternal and child health” proved to be useful from a scientific and practical point of view for employees of TMA departments, clinic doctors, masters and clinical residents, students.
