Recently, the staff of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Family Medicine took an active part in the XXIV World Congress of Gynecology
and Obstetrics FIGO 2023 in Paris (France). FIGO brings together midwives, nurses, allied physicians, and other healthcare professionals with key decision makers, patients, and health and human rights advocates. During the week in Paris, the main topics of discussion were ensuring the physical, mental, reproductive and sexual health and well-being of women and girls around the world. Women’s health is a lifelong concern, from adolescence to adulthood! The program of the 2023 World Congress is presented by a scientific committee and a board of consultants representing specialties in the field of women’s health from more than 45 countries covering five FIGO regions. Our faculty of the department participated in the Congress with poster presentations on current topics of obstetrics and gynecology. During the Congress, our employees got acquainted with the latest technologies in the field and innovative methods of diagnosis and treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases, which will contribute to the development of medicine in our country, too.
